Dulquer Salmaan was born on 28 July 1986 in Kochi, Kerala, India. His father Mammootty is a well-known Producer and actor in the Malayalam Film Industry. And his mother Sulfath is a housewife. Dulquer has an elder sister called Surumi.

Dulquer Salmaan Education
Dulquer Salmaan has completed his Primary schooling in Toc-H Public School, Vyttila, Kochi while he did complete high school at Sishya School in Chennai. For further studies, he headed to the US and completed a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Purdue University.
As he did Business degree he started his business but later he comes into the films industry and attended a three-month course at the Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai.

After entering into film industry Dulqeur got married to Amal Sufiya in 2011. The couple had a daughter in 2017 called Maryam.

Dulquer Salmaan Career
Dulquer Salmaan made his debut with Srinath Rajendran’s Second Show (2012) in which he played the role of Harilal, a gangster. The film becomes successful and he got Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
After receiving Filmfare award Salmaan did n’t stop, he gave another blockbuster movie in 2012 called Ustad Hotel, which has won National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. His next film was Theevram, the film did n’t perform well and got flopped.
In 2013, Dulquer Salmaan made his singing debut with Martin Prakkat’s comedy-drama ABCD: American-Born Confused Desi film. The film was also a blockbuster. Later, he gave some decent films like 5 Sundarikal (2013), Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, Pattam Pole.
Dulquer Salmaan Tamil Debut
He started 2014 with Salalah Mobiles, with Nazriya Nazim which was not successful. And now Salmaan did his Tamil Debut with Vaayai Moodi Pesavum which was also got positive reviews but Malayalam version of this film did n’t perform well.
After ABCD film he gives one of the best and most popular Malayalam movie called Bangalore Days. He acted along with Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim as his cousins. This Anjali Menon’s film got the best reviews and made entry into the Blockbusters list. In the same year, he acted in Vikramadithyan and Njaan.
In 2015 Salmaan worked in 3 films. The first was with Nitya Menon in 100 Days of Love and the second one was a Tamil Film of Rani Ratnam called O Kadhal Kanmani. Next, Salmaan gave his another blockbuster big movie called Charlie, in which he also did playback singing. The film Charlie got a positive response and won many awards like Kerala State Film Awards, for Best Actor and Filmfare award nominations.
After back to back successful movies Dulquer Salmaan stared 2016 with Kali Malayalam film with Sai Pallavi which was the highest opening day box office gross for a Malayalam film at that time. Later acted in Kammatipaadam and did a cameo in Annmaria Kalippilanu.
He acted with Anupama Parameswaran and Aishwarya Rajesh in Jomonte Suvisheshangal followed by CIA (Comrade in America), Parava and Solo.
Dulquer Salmaan Telugu and Hindi Debut
This multi-talented actor made his Telugu debut with Mahanati along with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Keerthy Suresh. And Hindi Debut with Karwaan film. Recently he acted in The Zoya Factor Hindi Film.
